How to Deal with Error Messages

CAUTION!

Never touch the Heater Unit. Even when the heater looks not heated, the residual heat will remain to maintain reproducibility while the power is on.

Before this procedure, switch the power off, and disconnect the AC power cord. Wait from 5 to 10 minutes, and make sure that the whole heated unit cools down completely. Never turn the power on until this procedure becomes completed.

Error Messages	Causes	Remedies
E_01	The movable slider is not correctly positioned when pressing the start switch.	Move the slider as far to the heater side as it can, set a glass capillary properly, press the start switch to put it back and then start it over.
E_02	It took over 90 seconds to adjust the heater. Operation was not finished within 90 seconds after the start switch was pressed.	Switch the selector to "OPERATION", then press the start switch to put it back and repeat the procedure.
E_03	It took over 90 seconds to adjust the magnet. Operation was not finished within 90 seconds after the start switch was pressed.	Switch the selector to "OPERATION", then press the start switch to put it back and repeat the procedure. Normally, error messages are cleared by pressing the start switch.
E_99	Failed fixation of the heater (poor contact) or a break in the heater.	Tighten the fixing screw of the heater securely. If the heater is deteriorated and disconnected, replace the heater with a new one.
